Show Entry:
  1. Entries are made using the IMEHA PHP Model Horse Show Program. You will find the Main Page at:
    IMEHA Horse Shows

  2. Entrants must join by registering their Stable or Ranch Name and receive a password. Please be sure to Name your stable or ranch something easy and to remember the EXACT spelling of the name. Please do not use any punctuation in the User ID (Stable Name) or in the password. The PHP Program that runs the script and shows can not process these. Entrants will then upload and be responsible for making all entries, deletions and repairs to their images.

  3. IMEHA will assume that the sender of the email is the contact for that entry, but we are not responsible for contacting owners who do not follow this format, are incomplete, or are lost.

  4. When entering IMEHA Shows please do not use any punctuation in the filename of the photo or in any of the information such as name of horse etc. The PHP Program that runs the script and shows can not process these.

  5. Horses which are mis-entered (i.e., placed in the wrong color or performance class) will be moved or deleted at the show holders' discretion.

  6. If you have questions about the format, email them to the online show manager at: Cynthia Jameson. Use a subject line other than the one for submitting entries.

Headstudy Classes:
The headstudy classes for IMEHA are extremely competitive. Please choose your entries from only your top models. If the photo is blurry or you can not see the iris of the model's eyes or there is no veining in the model's face, it would probably not be a good choice in which to show it. If the ear's of the mold do not show depth or the nostril's do not look realistic or are too shallow or if the head is long in length, the muzzle parrot mouthed or the head coarse in shape it is not a good choice to show. Please do not harbor a collector's mentality toward these classes. Do not feel that you must take a headstudy photo of every model you own as that is not the idea behind these classes. It is suggested that you read the IMEHA Conformation Guidebook's chapter on Heads and Necks here before making entry into the Headstudy classes. IMEHA Head and Neck

Headstudy Entry Requirements:
Headstudy classes are open to subject with or without headstall or bridle. Subject shall show head, throat latch and neck only. No chest, shoulder, topline or other body parts shall show within the photo frame. The neck shall stop at the top and bottom of base of the neck and no shoulder muscling or wither hair shall be visible. If you can still see wrinkles at the bottom of the neck that is where the shoulder ties into the neck and they need to be cropped out. This ruling is strictly enforced and your entry will not be approved by the Ring Steward if it does not comply.

ILLEGAL NEW HEADSTUDY ENTRIES will be disapproved.
ILLEGAL CURRENT HEADSTUDY ENTRIES will be DQd and if you do not overwrite the photo by the next show the show manager may UN-ENTERED (UN-CHECKED) the entry in Breed Show Divisions without contacting the owner.

The Eyes Have It Classes:
Photo submission for entry into these shows should have the subject limited to the eye and eyebrow. A partial cheek is allowed but not the full cheek. The base of the ear should not appear in the photo frame. The upper eye cavity is allowed. The Appaloosa eye class requires mottling around the eyelids. Green or gray eyes are commonly seen in horses with the dun gene. Parti colored eyes are typically blue with black or brown coloration. Eye Whites are the sclera, the whites of the eye, around the edge of the iris. NOTE: Any pink in the inside corner of the eye is the third eyelid. ... Eye whites will be white! An eye with No Pupil should have no contrasting dark center.
