Photo Show Entry
- Entries are made using the IMEHA PHP Model Horse Show Program. You will find the
Main Page at:
IMEHA Horse Shows - Entrants must join by registering their Stable or Ranch Name and receive a password. Please be sure to Name your stable or ranch something easy and to remember the EXACT spelling of the name. Please do not use any space or punctuation in the User ID (Stable Name) or in the password. The PHP Program that runs the script and shows can not process these. Entrants will then upload and be responsible for making all entries, deletions and repairs to their images.
- IMEHA will assume that the sender of the email is the contact for that
entry, but we are not responsible for contacting owners who do not
follow this format, are incomplete, or are lost.
- When entering IMEHA Shows please do not use any space or punctuation in the
filename of the photo or in any of the information such as name of horse etc.
The PHP Program that runs the script and shows can not process these.
- Horses which are mis-entered (i.e., placed in the wrong color or
performance class) will be moved or deleted at the show holders'
discretion.
- If you have questions about the format,
email them to the online show manager at: Cynthia Jameson. Use a
subject line other than the one for submitting entries.
Definitions
Artist Resin Release - Resin painted by the artist that sculpted it.
Repaint - repaint only
Simple RR - repainted with original molded mane/tail and/or twisted ears, but no repositioning of head, neck, or legs
Moderate RR - repainted with original molded mane/tail plus repositioning of head and/or neck, but no repositioning of legs
Drastic RR - repainted with original molded mane/tail plus repositioning of legs
R/H - repainted and added mohair mane/tail or added resculpted mane/tail, no repositioning
Simple RRH - repainted and added mohair mane/tail or added resculpted mane/tail plus twisted ears and/or slightly refined head, but no repositioning of head, neck, or legs
Moderate RRH - repainted and added mohair mane/tail or added resculpted mane/tail plus repositioning of head and/or neck, but no repositioning of legs
Drastic RRH - repainted and added mohair mane/tail or added resculpted mane/tail plus repositioning of legs
Definition of Green Division:
Green Shows are limited to entrants that have shown in 4 years or less online shows.
Photo must have been taken by the entrant. Green entrant may not cross enter into any other
divisions except Mold, Presentation or Headstudy.
Definition of Stone Factory Custom:
Definition of FC for Stone is anything not a regular run mold as it was when it first came out
into Stone product line is a factory custom. This includes windswept manes and changes in tails.
Definition of OF Factory Resin:
Any OF Resin developed on factory mass production and with an issue of 200 or more. Eberl Resins, HA Resins and Animal Artistry (AA) Resins are not considered OF Factory Produced
Resins and belong in the Artist Resin Division.
Definition of Diorama Premium:
“Diorama” denotes a partially three-dimensional, full-size
replica or scale model of a landscape typically showing
historical events, nature scenes or cityscapes and use scale
models and landscaping to create historical or fictional scenes.
Background requires more than a photo backdrop, such as
model scale trees, rocks, fencing, false front buildings
or other scaled items that or place upon a large
solid piece base board. The entry may be in case in
glass dome, in a box, carry case or set up separately
on a base board built for it's depiction. "Scenes" are defined
as those entries that depict as does a diorama but without
the box. Scenes are those that would not fit into the normal
show premium, such as those entries with multiple horses, horses
without tack but interacting with doll handlers. This show is open
to any size scale. Entry requires at least one equine in it's
photo unless photo is of wilderness or wildlife in which
case another model animal should be in photo. Exception is
of inside teepees or buildings. *NOTE: Entries in this show should not
cross entered from the regular breed or mold shows as points are
unfairly accrued.
Point System
Points are tabulated in all halter and performance classes as follows:
Points are given to 1st thru 6th place and accrue by the number of entries you defeated
in the class.
Division Grand Champions - 15 points
Division Reserve Champions - 10 points
Overall Grand Champion Model - 25 points
Overall Reserve Model - 20 points

Donkey Color
The following are the only color description accepted by The American Donkey and Mule Society. (ADMS)
Gray-dun
Brown (lt, medium, dark)
Black (no cross)
Black with cross
Red (includes sorrel, russet, red roan, "pink")
White (includes Ivory (Blue eyed) or Spotted White)
Spotted (with above base color)
In order to be in compliance with IMEHA color for donkeys you start with listing the base color. Then since donkeys display either gray or black pangare on their muzzles, around their eyes and sometimes on the underbelly you list that. Donkeys and mules do not display the same total body color as horses nor the same color genes. SPOTTED donkeys and mules pinto pattern is vastly different from that of the pinto pattern found in the horse.

Online Show Rules
- Photos must be in .jpg format and no larger than 450 pixels in width and or height, scanned at 300 dpi or less with a file size of 100k or less. This will be strictly enforced and any other images will be resized by show The Ring Stewards or deleted at their discretion.
- Photos that have been copyrighted, signed or named somewhere on the photo will be allowed as long as the writing or copyright mark does not cover the horse in any manner.
- Framed or oval shaped photos will NOT BE allowed.
- Digital enhancement or touchup of model horse is not allowed. Adding or removing anything from the model in the not allowed. Touch up of background, to increase the plinth or stand that supports any model or removal of plinth or model stands is allowed as long as any editing does not involve any part of the body of the model. Editing is also allowed to resize the photo or to adjust the brightness or gamma and to crop the orignal photo.
- Flipping of photos (mirror images) is allowed for the purpose of showmanship & halter and getting the handler on the correct side of the horse or for performance in which a horse is on the wrong lead or a counter canter.
- OF Micro Minis, Stablemates, Little Bits & OF Pebbles may show only in their division, CM & AR MM, SM and LB may show only in them division, Peter Stones OF Traditionals only in theirs and OF ChinaorResin only in theirs.
- No limit of entries for performance. One entry per class per horse please. In Other Western, Other English or Other Performance only one photo per horse (so pick your best one!).
- The same photo, i.e. filename, may not be used for more than one event. In particular, performance photos may not be used for multiple entries. It is impossible for the software program to differentiate between points earned for different classes if the same photo [filename] is used more than once. However, if you have a photo and you want to use it for more then one class you can upload the photo twice but with a different filename and obviously a different description. IMEHA does not recommend doing this however as judges may DQ the secondary photo if they believe it to be double entered and do not check the 'My Models' page before placing their classes.
- Headstudy classes are open to subject with or without headstall or bridle. Subject shall show head, throat latch and neck only. No chest, shoulder, topline or other body parts shall show within the photo frame. The neck shall stop at the top and bottom of base of the neck and no shoulder muscling or wither hair shall be visible. This ruling is strictly enforced and your entry will not be approved by the Ring Steward if it does not comply.

- Colors you must chose only 1 color class for your model. If you horse is a
pattern horse, such an Appaloosa or Paint you do not enter the horse in it's base color class. You place it in one of the pattern classes. If your model is a marginal color and your not sure which base color to place it in then you must pick 1 only.
- Color Show entries may not be shown with any tack upon the body other than a headstall or halter or draft warmblood horse surcingles unless the tack is molded on or the mold comes specifically as a horse and rider set. Any other type of unmolded tack in the photo will be considered a performance entry.

Example Horses Name: No - BMR's Red Dawg Yes - BMRs Red Dawg. - Entrants will then upload and be responsible for making all entries, deletions and repairs to their images.
- When registering and uploading your new entries Do Not use a generic image
such as a "Coming Soon" photo to represent your entries. Do not make a registration out for any
model that you DO NOT HAVE a photo of yet. Unapproved images still go into
a class and display with whatever image is uploaded. So that generic photo will be the one that
displays. Also, you are making double the work for the moderators who go through every day and
approve photos since they will disapprove the generic photo and then approve the same registration
later when the correct image has over written the generic one. As of April 2010, the moderators will no longer approve generic entries and will simply delete the entire registration from your account.
- Entry limited in Headstudy Division 4 per class, Mold Division 4 per class, Color Show 1 per class. Unlimited photos in all other divisions.
- Saddle and Tack Show Premium Requirements:
Saddle and tack may be photographed on a saddlerack or horse but attention to entry should be main focus of photo. Do not use your regular performance entry for these classes. Saddles or tack should be large in the photo frame so judges can see the item to judge it. - Doll Handlers Show Premium Requirements:
Dolls should be photographed as the main center of the subject. Do not use your regular photographed performance entry. Dolls may be set up as a winner's circle or advertisement for your stable such as those seen in breed magazines. Horse is not required to be in the photo with the handler. - Once you have entered the show you do not have to re-enter. The program does that for you. If you have new additions you must send those as stated above.
1. All Breed, Color or Mold Show Entries MUST be photographed as EITHER:
A. Directly Side Profile (right or left side) OR
B. May be angled SLIGHTLY so that the CenterLine of the horse is turned NO MORE THAN 1/4 (ONE FOURTH) OF THE DISTANCE from Directly Side Profile to Face Forward or Face Away.

BREED, COLOR OR MOLD SHOW RULE EXPLANATION:
In an attempt to present for Show Judges a sufficient amount of TOPLINE, so that models will be judged equally, horses shall not be turned beyond the allowable positions as described and illustrated above. The *TOPLINE is from the upper most of the withers across the back and to the upper most of the tail dock.
ILLEGAL ENTRIES will be DQd and if you do not overwrite the photo the show manager may UN-ENTERED (UN-CHECKED)and or Deactivate the entry in Breed, Color or Mold Show Divisions without contacting the owner. Judges are encourage to contact the Show Manager to notify of any illegal entry so that Show Management may Un-Enter and or Deactivate the Entry as well as removed any illegal achievements or points.
All angles and positions of models are acceptable for entry into Diorama/Scene Shows.
