Online Photo Show Rules
- Photos must be in .jpg format and no larger than 450 pixels in width and or height, scanned at 300 dpi or less with a file size of 100k or less. This will be strictly enforced and any other images will be resized by show The Ring Stewards or deleted at their discretion.
- Photos that have been copyrighted, signed or named somewhere on the photo will be allowed as long as the writing or copyright mark does not cover the horse in any manner.
- Framed or oval shaped photos will NOT BE allowed.
- Digitally enhanced backgrounds, touchup of horse or background is not allowed. Adding or removing anything from the original photo is not allowed. The only editing allowed for images is resizing, adjusting the brightness or gamma and cropping.
- Flipping of photos (mirror images) is allowed for the purpose of showmanship & halter and getting the handler on the correct side of the horse or for performance in which a horse is on the wrong lead or a counter canter.
- OF Micro Minis, Stablemates, Little Bits & OF Pebbles may show only in their division, CM & AR MM, SM and LB may show only in them division, Peter Stones OF Traditionals only in theirs and OF ChinaorResin only in theirs.
- No limit of entries for performance. One entry per class per horse please. In Other Western, Other English or Other Performance only one photo per horse (so pick your best one!).
- Headstudy classes are open to subject with or without headstall or bridle. Subject shall show head, throat latch and neck only. No chest, shoulder, topline or other body parts shall show within the photo frame. The neck shall stop at the top and bottom of base of the neck and no shoulder muscling or wither hair shall be visible. This ruling is strictly enforced and your entry will not be approved by the Ring Stweard if it does not comply.
- English Games Timed Events consists of any games under English Saddle that are won by having the fastest time such as Boot Scramble, Musical Chairs, Thread the Needle, Egg and Spoon Relay, Flag Race, Rescue Relay, Poles, Sack Race or Other.
- English Games Handy Horse or Pony is a class that the horse is required to negotiate certain obstacles and maneuvers, in a certain order, to prove how 'handy' it is. Obstacles can include gates, picking up and carrying items, walking through poles, jumping a small caveletti, in-hand gallop, rein back, and is often timed to break ties of ability.
- English Games Schooled Horse taken from the old days where the whole family used to ride to school on the same horse, entrants usually double up on the horse bareback, carrying school bags and the like, and set out to prove how quiet and trustworthy the horse is. In the confines of the showring. Entrants will usually dress up the horse a little, walk underneath him, pick up his feet, slide off over his rump, etc.

IMEHA Horse Shows
- Entrants must join by registering their Stable or Ranch Name and receive a password. Please be sure to Name your stable or ranch something easy and to remember the EXACT spelling of the name. Entrants will then upload and be responsible for making all entries, deletions and repairs to their images.
- Entry limited in Headstudy Division 4 per class, in Mold Division 4 per class. Unlimited photos in all other divisions.
- Green Shows are limited to entrants that have shown in 4 years or less online shows.
Photo must have been taken by the entrant. Green entrant may not cross enter into any other
divisions except Mold, Presentation or Headstudy.
- By Owner Classes are for those owners who do their own custom work but have 4 years or less
experience in customizing. Any 'By Owner' who has 5 years or more experience would be considered
an Advanced Artist and will be required to show in the Advanced Division.
- Defination of FC for Stone is anything not a regular run mold as it was when it first came out
into Stone product line is a factory custom. This includes windswept manes.
- Defination of workmanship:
Artist Resin Release - Resin painted by the artist that sculpted it.
Repaint - repaint only
Simple RR - sculpted mane/tail and/or twisted ears, but no repositioning of head, neck, or legs
Moderate RR - repositioning of head and/or neck, but no repositioning of legs
Drastic RR - repositioning of legs
R/H - repainted and added mohair mane/tail, no repositioning
Simple RRH - twisted ears and/or slightly refined head, but no repositioning of head, neck, or legs
Moderate RRH - repositioning of head and/or neck, but no repositioning of legs
Drastic RRH - repositioning of legs
- Saddle and Tack Show Premium Requirements:
Saddle and tack may be photographed on a saddlerack
or horse but attention to entry should be main focus
of photo. Do not use your regular performance entry
for these classes. Saddles or tack should be large
in the photo frame so judges can see the item to judge
it.
- Doll Handlers Show Premium Requirements:
Dolls should be photographed as the main center
of the subject. Do not use your regular photographed
performance entry. Dolls may be set up as a winner's
circle or advertisement for your stable such as those
seen in breed magazines. Horse is not required to be in the
photo with the handler.
- “Diorama” denotes a partially three-dimensional, full-size
replica or scale model of a landscape typically showing
historical events, nature scenes or cityscapes and use scale
models and landscaping to create historical or fictional scenes.
Background requires more than a photo backdrop, such as
model scale trees, rocks, fencing, false front buildings
or other scaled items that or place upon a large
solid piece base board. The entry may be in case in
glass dome, in a box, carry case or set up separately
on a base board built for it's depiction. This show is open
to any size scale. Entry requires at least one equine in it's
photo unless photo is of wilderness or wildlife in which
case another model animal should be in photo. Exception is
of inside teepees or buildings.
- Once you have entered the show you do not have to re-enter. The program does that for you. If you have new additions you must send those as stated above.
